Workforce Development
Having a strong workforce is paramount to industry success.  The Foundation invests in activities that drive workforce development.  This is accomplished through strategic partnerships with technical schools, trade schools and traditional four-year universities.  Through these partnerships, the Foundation identifies qualified students to receive scholarship support in fields and programs that channel students to the steel reinforced construction industry.

From 2016 to 2022, the Foundation granted $222,590 in academic scholarships.

These scholarships are funded through regional endowments, naked scholarships and annual fundraising initiatives.

Developing Rebar One Research Project at a Time
From 2016 to 2022, the Foundation invested $718,000 in Research and Development projects.

The Foundation makes annual and multi-year grants to projects that will strengthen our industry through product research, workforce safety, technical advances and other projects that ultimately make reinforced concrete the leader in the construction of buildings, bridges and roads.
