Scholarship Program

The CRSI Foundation offers three types of scholarship programs to students seeking a degree or marketable skill in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Construction Information Technology, or in a related educational program.

The Undergraduate Scholarship program is available to senior-level students majoring in Civil or Architectural Engineering, and seeking their Bachelor’s Degrees and awarded through CRSI’s region network. The Undergraduate Scholarship Program comprises five region scholarships and six named scholarships, one at each of Virginia Military Institute (Dick Castle-Walsh Scholarship), UMass / Wentworth Inst. of Tech. (Robert Brack Memorial Scholarship), UC-San Diego (John M. Stutz Scholarship), Northeastern University (Bill Collins Scholarship), University of Washington (Harold V. Paulson Scholarship), and the University of California San Diego (Jack Stutz Memorial Scholarship). The application process for these scholarships is handled directly through the universities.

The Trade School Scholarship program is available for students pursuing a degree in the trades. The Foundation partners with each of the CRSI regions and many chapters to offer annual scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 to offset the costs of education and training in the trade school environment.  The application process is typically handled directly through each school.

The Employee & Industry Scholarship program is available for full-time employees of member companies of CRSI, as well as children and spouses of full-time employees of member companies, and CRSI staff. To express interest or apply for this scholarship, email
